The AI Revolution

A word of advice to all humans.

Midjourney can already create beautiful artwork in just a few seconds. LLMs like ChatGPT can instantly write a book based on just a few prompts. OCR can extract all the text from documents with the push of a button. AI is already powerful enough to replace tens of millions of jobs, and it’s only getting faster and smarter every day.

So why hasn’t it happened already?

Many managers are simply ignorant or afraid of the repercussions. Automating business processes also takes time especially with poor documentation. There are also massive legal and security risks involved in implementing AI in everything. But when one business moves, they all go. Once software vendors start to heavily implement AI into all their products, companies will no longer be able to ignore the massive cost saving potential that it represents. Anyone who refuses to adopt them will be crushed by the competition.

The devastation that’s coming to office workers cannot be overstated. I can already hear you saying: ‘new jobs will be created, people will be needed to oversee the AI!’. But only in the short term. Once employees have successfully trained AI to do their job they will no longer be needed. By utilizing AI, one person can do the work of thousands. There will be little use for new hires as they cannot match the capability of AI; soon only team leaders and managers will be left.

A great recession is coming. This will give companies the excuse they’ve finally been waiting for to start laying off employees en masse. They will hide behind financial troubles as an excuse. However, unlike previous recessions, once the economy bounces back those employees won’t be needed again. They will already be replaced with AI agents that work 24/7 at inhuman speed.

Repetitive data entry jobs will be automated first. Next come the writers, artists, musicians, customer service agents, tech support workers, digital marketers. Professions that require sifting through thousands of pages of paperwork like law are a simple task for AI. It’s only a year or two before AI will completely surpass humans in programming, research, mathematics, and science, so those jobs aren’t safe either.

So how can you prepare? Learn how to use AI now before everyone else does. Figure out how to make money on your own without relying on a company to hire you. Start your own business using AI tools, or find blue-collar work that’s in high demand and difficult to automate – think plumbers, nurses, police, and electricians. And don’t forget to vote for UBI, or prepare to defend what little wealth you have from the starving masses.

Good luck, you’ll need it.
